The Clerk & Recorder’s documents are now available on iDoc! You may use this service by going to idocmarket.com. Not all records are available just yet, but we are adding more each day.
Copy fees – $.50 for the first page of a document and $.25 for each additional page. There will be a $2.00 convenience fee for copies sent by fax or email. For certified copies of recorded documents, the standard copy fees apply along with a $2.00 certification fee. Certified copies cannot be faxed or emailed.
Recorded Documents
Deeds; Mortgages; Releases; Leases; Orders & Decrees; Assignments and Miscellaneous. These documents are indexed, microfilmed and returned. Recording fee is $8.00 per page, or portion thereof. Non-standard documents incur an additional $10.00 fee. Please follow document standards.
Filed Documents
Financing Statements, Liens, Attachments; Notices of Action; Plats; Certificates of Survey; Land Corner Recordations; Election Filings and Miscellaneous. These documents are indexed and filed in the vault. Filing fees vary. **Surveys submitted to the Clerk & Recorder’s Office after 4:30pm may not be recorded until the following day to allow adequate time for review before filing.
Birth and Death Records
Birth and death records are not open to the public.
Certified Copies of a Birth Certificate
Mail a completed copy of the Birth Certificate Request to the Teton County Clerk and Recorder’s Office with a $8.00 fee per certificate.
Certified Copies of a Death Certificate
Mail a completed copy of the Death Certificate Request to the Teton County Clerk and Recorder’s Office with the a $7.00 fee for each certificate.
Military Discharges (DD214)
These are recorded documents with book and page identification. $2.00 plus copy fees. All documents are given numbers and/or book and page identification so they can be located at a future date. It is important that you have that document ID when calling for Information. Please mail a completed Military Discharge Request to the Teton County Clerk & Recorder’s Office with the proper fees. Please note: this form must be notarized.
Legal Notice – ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that regular** voter registration for the General Election, November 7, 2023, for the Town of Dutton will close at 5:00 p.m., October 10, 2023.
**NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by appearing in person at the county election office and receiving the mail ballot up to noon, Monday, November 6, 2023.
All active electors in the Town of Dutton will be entitled to vote in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The elections will be held by mail ballot with ballots being mailed on October 20, 2023, and must be returned to the Teton County Clerk & Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. November 7, 2023. If you did not receive a ballot by mail and are a registered active elector, contact the Teton County Clerk & Recorder’s office for an official ballot.
Any person who wishes to register may do so by requesting a form for registration by mail or in person at the Teton County Clerk & Recorder’s office in the Teton County Courthouse. Inactive electors may reactivate by appearing at the Clerk and Recorder’s office and will receive their ballot at that time.
