Think of it as a guide that shows you how to provide the support and security your child needs to form strong, healthy attachments.

Love and Logic:

The Love and Logic approach to parenting is built around the science of caring and respectful relationships.
An authentic, loving connection between parents and their children forms the foundation of good behavior and healthy decision-making.
When children  feel valued and respected, they naturally begin to make responsible choices.

Mother/Baby:

Join us to learn evidence-based ways to manage stress in our lives through pleasant activities, thoughts and contact with others.
This curriculum can be presented in a group or individual setting.

Lead Poison Prevention Program

Teton County Health Department offers free lead testing.
A capillary test (finger-prick) is usually the first step to determine if a child has lead in their blood.
Finger-prick tests can provide fast results.

We can also check your child’s iron level at the same time.

Pregnancy Testing

Urine pregnancy tests are completed by health department staff at no cost.
Results are provided within a few minutes.
Women who are provided apregnancy test at our location have the added benefit of receiving assistance with referrals to other services.

Breastfeeding Support

Certified Lactation Counselor

Breastfeeding is a personal decision.  No mother should feel guilty if she cannot, or chooses not to, breastfeed.
However, for mothers who desire to breastfeed, their success can be greatly improved through support.
Breastfeeding has countless benefits, but can also be challenging.  We are here to help!

If you need assistance acquiring a breast pump, Medela breast pumps are available to borrow at not cost.

Lactation Station

Want to make your event breastfeeding friendly?
Our lactation station is a portable, private space that allows people to breastfeed or pump in a community setting.
Available to borrow for your next community event.

Providing lactation spaces shows your support for keeping families healthy.

Providing lactation space will draw more families to your event and help them stay longer!

Infant Scale

Frequent weight checks are common for many newborns during the first few weeks of life.
We are happy to weigh and measure your baby, and forward on to their health care provider.
We also have infant scales for loan.
